Easter Egg Hunt
Every year someone hosts a huge Easter egg hunt for the kiddos, Fun for the entire family. For more information contact the Social Committee
4th of July Parade
Usually on Saturday closest to the 4th at 10 am Decorate your golf cart, UTV's and truck and trailers , either Patriotic of themed Prizes are awarded for 3 categories Most Patriotic , Best Over All and Honorable Mention Parade starts at the front gate , winding through Bull run then Lincohn and finishing up at the end of Stonewall with a water display from the fire department!

4th of July Fireworks
the week end closest to the 4th we have 1-2 firework displays both are viewable from the water or land between Stonewall and Lincoln, The show have been getting bigger and better than ever lasting well over 30 minutes, hop on your boat and come anchor down and enjoy the show!

Chili Cook Off
Usually in November we gather on Bull run for a great time with the neighbors , just come by to enjoy some great chili creations or enter your own batch, Prizes are awarded for 3 categories, Best visually appealing, Most Spicy, and Best Overall.

Themed Parties
Several parties happen throughout the year hosted by different families, Christmas Parties, Halloween Parties, everyone dress up and goes all out on costumes!. and most every holiday someone is getting together with friends,
October-fest.
Join in on the fun with German style food brats and enjoy a pint or glass of wine with friends, come casual of all decked out in your German attire! its a night to remember. We just had our 18th annual in 2024

Other Attractions
The Wilderness Wildlife Pen
Having deer and our beloved exotic donkey Ernie in the pen near the office makes our neighborhood unique. Food, water, medical attention and security must be provided in order to maintain their health. Ernie loves carrots and apples and is very friendly to the kids that feed him. If you would like to know more about the animals, or to volunteer to help, contact Jeff and Amy Freshwater.

Deer Park Trails
Our unique trails are a sight to see for sure, the whimsical decor intertwines with the surrounding wilderness makes for an enjoyable adventure, the trails are maintained by volunteers. If you would like to know more about the trails, or to volunteer to help, contact Kevin Smith

Wildwood Trails
Wildwood trails are on the Watkins personal land that they have kindly invited residents of the Wilderness to enjoy. The trails are natural paths with a hand made Teepee that is great for kids of all ages to enjoy. The trails are for hiking or biking and the main entry trail can be accessed by golf carts and utv's.
